Intelligent Insanity is an interesting look at the sounds of what we call the genre of 'Rock and Roll'. We're gonna turn it upside down, spin it around, and rub it's belly - because Rock and Roll has always been a musical genre that's fun and easy to discuss, because it's so varied. There's not just one thing that makes up Rock and Roll.

Intelligent Insanity
Intelligent Insanity, with hosts “Mr. Marty” Martinez, and Gary “the Medicine Man” Guzzo, is what is commonly referred to as a “Classic Rock” radio program, but one that breaks all the generalizations that the genre has been known have. On each themed broadcast, Martinez and Guzzo dig deep into not only the music of an era, but the very Times themselves. Intelligent Insanity brings our older listeners back to the days of car tape decks and transistor radios, playing the AM songs of their youth, with the depth, respect and style, of the FM stations that followed. But, where other shows use a formula approach to classic rock, Intelligent Insanity uses something quite different. Traditional classic rock programs replay the past glories of aging rock stars, treating them like curiosities of a past age. Intelligent Insanity brings the listener back into the past in a way that exposes these acts as we first heard them. Talented, edgy, frustrated 20-somethings, taking chances with new ideas for music, while also paying tribute to their own early influences. This is not the place to mourn the 70 year old Rolling Stones, but rather the chance to jump on those early tour busses with the 20 year old Stones, and explore the development of their music, while also exploring the lost world they were created from. For regular Classic Rock listeners, this will be a chance to hear these songs again…’for the first time’, while reminiscing over the unique social, fashion, and entertainment that contributed to the greatest period in musical history. For our younger listeners, many who actually will be hearing these songs and stories for the first time, they will be hearing it the same way WE first did, complete with the inside stories, the legends, and the outright fantasies. All this, will be presented by the greatest Radio Buddy-team ever to grace the airwaves. Mr. Marty and The Medicine Man will become your tour guides through the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s, as well as finding new material from classic rock acts, and brand new bands that just seem to fit so well.
Intelligent Insanity will not only become a legend to new and Classic Rockers, it also hopes to be a champion for record labels with Classic Rock Catalogs, and concert promoters staging shows featuring these still-dynamic acts. We will cover these events, with the respect and volume they have deserved for so long. Look forward to spotlights on touring bands, complete with in depth interviews and brilliant retrospectives. Intelligent Insanity…..Smart, Crazy, Rock.
